The Soil and Water Conservation Districts of Adams, Huntington, and Wells Counties have joined together to offer a Warm Season Grass seeder for rent.  The Land Pride warm season grass seeder can be used to seed three different varieties at the same time.  Rental is $10.00 per acre, minimum $50.00 charge.  A signed rental agreement is required before picking up the equipment.  Contact the SWCD office for scheduling and rental agreement information.

     The Eversman Land Plane and Verhoff Land Leveler can be used to level out areas in fields to allow for better surface drainage and reduce erosion.  The soil surface must be dry, and the area to be leveled needs to be worked so that the soil will roll in the land plane or land leveler blade.

Rental is based on $3.00 per acre with a minimum $50.00 per day charge.  A signed rental agreement is required before picking up the equipment.  Contact the SWCD office for scheduling and rental agreement information.
